Ocho are thrilled to be singing two concerts to celebrate this Christmas! We shall be singing at St Mary's Church, Rolleston on Dove on Tuesday 16th December and a second concert at St Margaret's Church, Crick on 18th December.

These concerts promise to be extra special as Ocho are inviting some special guests along to join them. At the Rolleston concert, Ocho will be joined by performers from 'Stagescreen' Drama School, Burton upon Trent and at the Crick concert, the guests will be Crick's own Ladies Choir, JUNCTIØN18. Ocho are well known for their very diverse repertoire and our guests will bring an extra special sparkle to the evening. So we shall be moving from 'Strictly sacred' through 'Strictly showtime' to 'Strictly traditional Christmas' ..... A great time to be had by all!

Tickets are £12.00 (under 16's free) to include refreshments at the interval and can be purchased online here. Tickets will also be available on the door by cash or contactless payment. It should be noted however that online ticket sales have already started to fill up so it may be best to guarantee your seat by purchasing online. (NB: no additional booking fee). See you there!

Would you like to be Ocho's new alto?

We are currently looking for an experienced singer to join Ocho as an Alto. Experience in ensemble or choral singing would be an advantage, Ocho practices on Tuesday evenings at a venue on the Leicestershire/Staffordshire border and sing a variety of concerts and also enter some vocal competitions. If you are interested, you can call Derek on 07769 226650 for an informal chat or complete our application form here

Sadly, Ocho is saying 'Goodbye' to our lovely alto, Megan Maddock, as she moves on to pastures new. Megan has been an integral part of the Ocho 'family' as a brilliant alto and has experienced many competition wins and fun concerts with us. All of Ocho wish to say a huge 'thank you' to Meg for all of her love, support and vocal contribution over the past years and wish her well for the future. Perhaps it should be more of an 'au revoir' than a 'goodbye' as Meg will be staying in touch with us all as part of the extended 'Ocho family'. Thank you Meg ....... and we wish you well xx
