About Us
Georgia Sibley has been singing from a early age partaking in lots of shows with various local amateur dramatics companies. She has qualifications in both Classcial (ABRSM) and Musical Theatre singing (LCM). She studied at Birmingham Ormiston Acadmey and continued with her studies to the University of Chichester where she obtained a joint BA (Hons) degree in Music and Musical Theatre.
Tilley Bancroft began her musical life as a violinist, touring internationally when she was as young as 13! She has been a member of various orchestras, string ensembles and groups including Staffordshire Youth Orchestra, Derby Concert Orchestra and local folk groups. Tilley has always had a love of singing and began studying classical vocals 6 years ago.
Hannah Wilkinson has been singing all her of her life and has performed as a mezzo-soprano soloist at a wide variety of concerts and functions. She is a former member of The National Youth Choirs of Great Britain. Having completed her medical studies, Hannah returned to choral singing as a founder member of Ocho !
Megan Daniels has a BA Hons in Musical Theatre. She was a member of the UK’s prestigious national Youth Music Theatre for four years. She has sung as part of the City of Birmingham Youth Chorus and the City of Birmingham Symphony Chorus.
Megan also teaches musical theatre at StageScreen Burton.
Rachel Cook was one of the founding members of Ocho and as well as singing in chamber choirs, also enjoys musicals with her beloved Burton Musical Theatre Company. Rachel has a beautiful lower alto voice giving a lovely timbre to Ocho's singing. After a brief break, Rachel has returned to be part of our extended Ocho family.
Stuart Hannibal has always loved singing. It all started with a primary school production of 'My Fair Lady' trying to woo Eliza Doolittle 'on the street where you live'. Stuart has performed in Musical theatre in Birmingham, 'crooned' for the Sinatra UK Music Society, and over the last few years he's enjoyed singing with his local Choral Society. He loves to mess around on his piano and has been known to pick up a guitar, but most of all, he just loves to croon...
Ocho .... and 'Lullabye'
Adrian Juffs sang at school, forgot to sing for a while, then found his voice again in the Noteability, Notable Company, Friday Voices and Choros Amici choirs. He plays cornet a teeny bit, piano even less, gets roped into community singing and amateur panto, and enjoys volunteering with Music for Everyone’s Boys and Youth choirs and Youth Band.
Derek Gardner started singing as a 10 year old in a church choir in South Wales. His musical life has varied since then, playing violin, guitar and, more recently, cajon drum. But Derek has always sung ........ you know what they say about Welshmen! He has maintained an interest in choral music singing with Noteable Company, Friday Voices and Choros Amici Chamber Choirs.
