Calling all singers! !

September 19th will soon be here! Ocho's 'Open Evening' is fast approaching! If you have choral or singing experience and fancy a new challenge why don't you come along to our 'Open Evening' where people can meet us and also have a sing with us?

We are looking to bolster the team, particularly with a tenor or bass or two. AND ... there will be nibbles available!!!!

It will be EXTREMELY informal and you can just come and listen if you wish! If you do wish to attend, you can find a registration form and more details HERE. It will be at 8.00-10.00 pm at Barrow upon Trent Village Hall. We look forward to seeing you !

Christmas in Germany !

Ocho are thrilled to have been asked to sing 2 concerts in Krefeld and Duisburg in Germany in early December. Silk-O-phonics are a German 'a cappella' group based in Krefeld who have sung with great success in concerts and competitions around Germany. They approached Ocho to see if we would like to sing two joint concerts in Germany this Christmas. We are still in the early stages of planning as not too many people want to mention the word 'Christmas' in June but we know that both groups will sing half a concert each and there may be some opportunity for our two groups to sing a couple of songs together! It promises to be very exciting and enjoyable trip and we shall keep Ocho followers in touch with the goings on as we get nearer the time. I think some of Ocho are looking forward to visiting the odd Christmas market too!

Come and Join Us for a Sing!

Following the success of our two recent concerts including our 10th Anniversary, Ocho are looking to expand our number so that we can carry out more engagements .... but there will only be 8 singers on stage at any given time of course!

We are particularly looking for a Soprano, Tenor and Bass to join our family.
